Russian Journo Clocked In The Face By Drunk Dude On Live TV [Video]

A Russian TV journalist was punched in the face by a drunk passerby Wednesday during a celebration of the Russian military’s first successful parachute jump.

Russia Beyond The Headlines explained the presence of the onlookers in the background.

“Paratroopers and anyone else brave enough – often in an inebriated state – frolic in Moscow’s fountains and pick fights with unfortunate passers-by,” it said. “Some fountains are turned off in a number of Russian cities to stop the madness.”

Task and Purpose, citing Russian media reports, noted that the drunk man was arrested following the altercation.
