Today is the one and only Jerry Jones’ birthday. The Cowboys owner is celebrating 75 years being on this Earth – and he definitely has a lot to celebrate today.

Jones has owned the Cowboys since the year 1989 and lately the NFL has come under fire because many of the players are choosing to kneel during the National Anthem. Jones has spoken out publicly about what will happen to his players if they choose to kneel. They will be benched.

A few weeks ago after President Trump made comments about the players who choose to protest in the form of kneeling for the anthem. After this happened Jerry made a statement with his players and every player kneeled with Jerry before the anthem played.

I agree with Jerry that his players should be benched if they choose to kneel during the anthem, and I think more NFL owners should adopt that tactic.
