Production for the popular TV show “House of Cards” is suspended Tuesday following actor Kevin Spacey’s alleged sexual assault of a minor.
Spacey’s sexual assault allegations have caused the production of House of Cards to be halted, reported CNN. Netflix previously announced Monday that Season 6 of “House of Cards” would be the show’s last season.
Anthony Rapp, an actor from the Star Trek series, accused Spacey, 26 at the time, of allegedly sexually assaulting him at a party when he was 14-years-old, Rapp said in an interview with BuzzFeed News Sunday.
Spacey, 58, responded by saying that he has no recollection of the event, but blames the alleged incident on “drunken behavior,” according to an apology posted to Twitter Monday. Spacey now lives as a “gay man,” he tweeted and earned backlash from LGBTQ activists due to making alleged sexual advances on a minor.

The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences revoked Spacey’s International Emmy Founders Award that he was supposed to receive in November.
