We now have a look at Army’s uniforms for the upcoming Navy game, and they’re awesome.

ESPN tweeted out pictures of the uniforms with the caption, “FIRST LOOK: Army uniforms for Army-Navy game this weekend. Tribute to the 10th Mountain Division known as the ‘Pando Commandos.’ Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman organized supplies & maintained mules for unit.”

First off, I had no idea Bowerman had military history. Not only is he veteran, but he has a Silver Star and four Bronze Stars for his actions during WWII. Absolute badass if I’ve heard of one.

I love these uniforms, especially knowing the history behind them now. I was fully expecting Navy to cruise to a victory in this game, but now I don’t know for sure. These uniforms have me thinking the scales might be tipping in the favor of West Point.

Either way, this game should be awesome.
