President Donald Trump said he is part of the largest “witch hunt” in U.S. political history in a tweet Monday morning.
Trump suggested everyone watch well-known lawyer Alan Dershowitz’s appearance on “Fox & Friends,” where he explained weather or not Trump obstructed justice by firing former FBI Director James Comey.
Dershowitz said it would be ridiculous if Congress were to ever charge Trump with obstruction of justice for exercising his constitutional authority under Article II, saying there would be a “constitutional crisis” if charges were filed against the president.
“You cannot charge a president with obstruction of justice for exercising his constitutional power,” Dershowitz’s said.
A must watch: Legal Scholar Alan Dershowitz was just on @foxandfriends talking of what is going on with respect to the greatest Witch Hunt in U.S. political history. Enjoy!

Dershowitz’s comments come as California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein said that the Senate Intelligence Committee is investigating Trump for “obstruction of justice” Sunday on NBC’s “Meet The Press.” The president also blasted the FBI the same day for the way it handled the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
Former FBI Director James Comey and former Attorney General Eric Holder bashed Trump Sunday for criticizing the way the FBI handled the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
